Question:
Hard riddle for you riddlers out there.?
2009-04-23 22:35:55 UTC
So I thought i'd made up a hard riddle that not many people would try to guess, here it goes

If the fiddle is a riddle, and the fiddle is a riddle, and the fiddle is a riddle, is it not really a riddle?

Because if you can figure out what is wrong with the top sentence, you are very good with words. Most people that look at this will actually try to solve it for the wrong reason.

good luck, and i'll let the best answer be known when I can choose it.

you're not talking about a riddle at first, you're talking about the fiddle... the last part should read: " is it not really a fiddle".

Well, as what you said, "Because if you can figure out what is wrong with the top sentence, you are very good with words."... the incorrect one was the i'd. It must be I'd.

And I think the answer for the 2nd sentence which is,"If the fiddle is a riddle, and the fiddle is a riddle, and the fiddle is a riddle, is it not really a riddle?" is that, uhmmm...well, well, well, it's not about solving it either but I think the answer is just... simply NO... it doesn't mean that if a sentence do have rhymes, we can call it as a riddle...

I think the change is as follows :

If the fiddle is a riddle, and the riddle (was fiddle) is a fiddle (was riddle) , and the fiddle is a riddle( I think this last part is not needed), is it not really a riddle?

no it would be a riddle because if the fiddle = riddle then riddle = riddle and both the fiddle and the riddle are equally the same.

However because of that cheeky little hint you gave I suspect that you worded something incorrectly. Did you accidentally add an extra 'and the fiddle is a riddle'?

If you fiddle with the riddle

Seeing that three times you biddle

Then the question should really end

Saying "Are none of these a riddle?" (my friend?)

I am assuming your last comment/clue was in response to my answer? So let me revise my answer :

Three times you fiddle

With not any a riddle.

So the riddle is just a fiddle.

LET'S JUST STOP FIDDLING WITH THIS SILLY RIDDLING

AND GIVE ME THE BEST ANSWER BEFORE I START TO CRY/PIDDLING !!
