Biblical stories are just myths. That means, the pillar supporting the legitimacy of the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam is no longer secure. Therefore, you need not be so distraught over religions.

Shakira, here are some problems I have with the Islamic religion.

God has promised in many verses of scripture to preserve His Word and yet Islam declares The Bible has been edited and corrupted. The grass withereth and the flower thereof falleth away but The Word of God endureth forever.

You point at the fulfillment of prophecy to validate the Koran. I do not dispute the spiritual origin of your Holy Book, but I have the same question Muhammed asked: Is it heaven or is it hell?

Isalm declares "God cannot cause a woman to conceive" Really? How arrogant is that? Maybe Allah cannot but The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob can do anything which pleases Him.

The things taught by the Koran are directly opposite and antithetical to Christianity. Isnt that suspicious to you?

Islam has no remedy for sin and even declares it has no need of one. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. You believe Alllah is just and merciful to forgive your sins. But my Holy Book tells me: "Without blood there is no remission of sin". Remember the lie told to Eve in the garden: "thou shalt surely NOT die" Is Islam believing the same lie?

If Allah forgives sins without cutting it off clean, then the negative influence of those sins is accumulating and growing. He absorbs them, is corrupted, polluted and diminished by them.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has zero tolerance for sin, thereby remaining Holy, Righteous and pure. He even withdrew from Jesus before He died on the cross as the sins of the world descended upon Him, causing Jesus to cry out: "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

Islam declares that Isaac is not the child of promise, who is born of Sarah and therefore legitimate, but that Ismail is, who is born of Haggar the servant woman and therefore illigitimate.

Is there historical evidence that there was a very high ranking pagan "Moon god" named Allah?

Is there a crescent moon on the flag of Islam? Does Ramadam follow the phases of the moon?

Do the warriors of Islam hide behind masks or do they boldly step forward to defend their faith?

In the Christian faith there is the parallel institution of marriage which we recognise as being cut with the same pattern as Christ and the Church. The bride takes the name of her husband and becomes part of him as his Mrs. Likewise a new believer takes the Name of Jesus Christ, identifying with Him and is baptised into His Body, which is the Church becoming part of Him. As Jesus is Holy and without sin, so are the members of His body, the Church, which are identified with Him, because their sins are covered by the blood of The Lamb of God, Jesus, are "cast into the sea and forgotten". Baptism is the application of both The Name and the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. And for His obedience to the will of His Father in heaven, even unto death on the cross, God has highly exalted His Only Begotten Son, given to Him a Name above all names, all power/authority in heaven and earth. Made Him both Lord and Christ and head of all things to the Church. My God says to my Lord: "Sit you here at my right hand until I have put all things under your feet." There is a beauty, a grace and divinity in the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is not present in Islam.

just a simple thought religion is darkenss...but it thought you to know GOD but when it comes in claiming which religion is right that is pretty ..much funny ,,,all we have is ONE GOD the creator of all living things....IN ARABIC GOD IS ALLAH.. in hebrw its YAHWEH so may GOD HAVE MANY NAMES STILL he is one,,,, ,..we have given intelectual will to know/ do good or bad so its up to us to choose.. im a christian but i dnt claim that im in the right religion.... bible the old and new testament contradicts some of its verses.. so how can i say my religion is perfectly right.

NO!!!!!! Jesus/ messiah is not dead!!!!!!

We believe in him and in his words but not those written years after he had left earth by unknown people who had no rrelatioship with him.

And he is NOT Allah s son. Allah is GOD. Jesus is a messenger, a human being just like you and me but with a divine messege that we all respect.

Christians have a difficulty admitting that they have been fooled. And that their problem.

A religion that allows men to marry men and women to marry women is not a religion. It s BS.

Yeah it's pretty complicated and confusing because everyone says something different and they all say you have to believe this or else. But it becomes a lot less confusing when you use your own head and heart. When your heart is in the right place, AND you use evidence, reason, and experience as a guide, things become a lot more clear.

Ask God to show you the truth, and READ the SCriptures.

The Islamic religion is a false religion according to the scriptures.

, Muslims call Jesus a prophet but refuse to believe anything he taught. That is hypocrisy.

They reject his claim to be the Son of God.

They reject his death on the cross.

They reject his resurrection from the grave.

They reject jesus's claim to have died for our sins.

They reject his claim to be the Christ messiah.

Do not be deceived, the Islamic god is not the same as the God of Jesus Christ.

" Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist,.... Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father.." ( I Jn. 2:22-23)

When people born and have a religious family and by the time they reaches his teens he/she is usually fully brain wash.and thinking that everyone should have believe and it is the only correct one. However, when some people mature and are exposed to other belief-systems, they begin to question of their own beliefs, which I am one of them and you are as well, we begin to search religions and questioning. People that searching for the truth often end up confused when realizing that every religion, sect, ideology and philosophy claims to be the one and only correct way for man. Indeed, they all encourage people to do good. So, which one is right? They cannot all be right, since each claims all others are wrong. Then how does the seeker of truth choose the right way? God gave us all minds and intellects to enable us to make this crucial decision. It is the most important decision in the life of a human being. Upon it depends his future. Consequently, each and every one of us must examine dispassionately the evidence presented, and choose what appears to be right until further evidence arises. Like every other religion or philosophy, Islam also claims to be the one and only true way to God. In this respect it is no different from other systems. “…This day have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion…” (Quran 5:3)

“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to God), never will it be accepted of him.” (Quran 3:85)

Hence, Islam does not claim to be a new religion brought by Prophet Mohammed into Arabia in the seventh century, but rather to be a re-expression in its final form of the true religion of Almighty God, Allah, as it was originally revealed to Adam and subsequent prophets.

At this point, we might comment briefly on two other religions that claim to be the true path. Nowhere in the Bible will you find God revealing to Prophet Moses’ people or their descendants that their religion is called Judaism, or to the followers of Christ that their religion is called Christianity. In other words, the names “Judaism” and “Christianity” had no divine origin or approval. It was not until long after his departure that the name Christianity was given to Jesus’ religion.

What, then, was Jesus’ religion in actual fact, as distinct from its name? His religion was reflected in his teachings, which he urged his followers to accept as guiding principles in their relationship with God. In Islam, Jesus is a prophet sent by Allah, and his Arabic name is Eesaa. Like the prophets before him, he called upon the people to surrender their will to the will of God (which is what Islam stands for). For example, in the New Testament it is stated that Jesus taught his followers to pray to God as follows:

“Our father in heaven, hallowed be your name, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Luke 1 1:2/Matthew 6:9-10)

This concept was emphasized by Jesus in a number of his statements recorded in the Gospels. He taught, for example, that only those who submitted would inherit paradise.

“None of those who call me ‘Lord’ will enter the kingdom of God, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21)

Jesus also pointed out that he himself submitted to the will of God.

“I cannot do anything of myself. I judge as I hear and my judgment is honest because I am not seeking my own will but the will of Him who sent me.” (John 5:30)

There are many reports in the Gospels which show that Jesus made it clear to his followers that he was not the one true God. For example, when speaking about the final Hour, he said:

“No-one knows about the day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, not the son, but only the Father.” (Mark 13:32)

Thus Jesus, like the prophets before him and the one who came after him, taught the religion of Islam: submission to the will of the one true God.

“And behold! God will say: ‘O Jesus, the son of Mary! Did you say to men, worship me and my mother as gods besides God?’ He will say: ‘Glory to you, I could never say what I had no right (to say)...’” (Quran 5:116)

Nor did Jesus worship himself when he worshipped, but rather he worshipped God. And Jesus was reported in the Gospels to have said:

“It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’” (Luke 4:8)

There are so many sects, cults, religions, philosophies, and movements in the world, all of which claim to be the right way or the only true path of God. How can one determine which one is correct or whether, in fact, all are correct?

“You do not worship besides Him but only names which you have named, you and your forefathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority: the command belongs only to Allah: He has commanded that you worship Him; that is the right religion, but most men do not understand.” (Quran 12:40)

Hope I helped :)
