Yeeeah, my class was debating what came first, someone said "Two chickens fell in love, and blah blah blah, they made an egg, it hatched."
But where did those two chickens come from?
I plan on printing this page out, and showing it to my teacher.
The most creative answer gets 10 points. ;)

And yes..eighth graders have very intelligent answers, as you can see.

I think dinosaurs were laying eggs before chickens were around. So eggs.

because that I honestly should be "inventive" the egg and the hen both got here at the same time! again in the solid old days previously X-ray, you probably did not comprehend what replaced into contained in the egg till it hatched (or you smashed it, yet that is merciless). besides, suitable as a lot because the instantaneous previously the egg hatched, there replaced right into a toddler hen all waiting to be released into this international in all that is glory! so they both exist at the same time, the toddler hen contained in the egg and the egg, properly merely the egg being there! obviously, you are able to say the egg got here previously the hen because the hen hasn't shaped, yet that little dot of hen-to-get replaced into there from the instantaneous the egg replaced into laid, and that little hen-to-be can certainly be counted as a hen! So... they both got here at the same time! :)

actually, somewhere in the bible it says that God created al creatures, and gave them the ability to reproduce. When a chicken lays an egg, the baby chicken comes, there for, reproducing! So, the chicken comes 1st!

the chicken came first. there was only one chicken and a rooster. 2 chickens falling in love is lesbo. the rooster and the chicken fell in love, and the first man ate their eggs, so there never was any eggs until a few batches later.

the real question is not which came first, but who actually first thought about eating one!

and which was eaten first? the chicken or the egg???

ps: the Bible says God created all creatures, so I say the chicken came first

maybe the two chickens didnt come from eggs. maybe they were born as is...and then some weird mutation happened or something, and then they had eggs.
