World's Hardest Riddle (seagull), First Correct Awnser gets points?

A man walks into a restaurant orders a seagull, takes one bite and kills himself, why?

OK, it goes like this:



The man was blind. He had been stranded on a desert island following a plane wreck. He survived on the island by eating the meat of what he thought were seagulls (though god only knows what led him to that assumption, since he couldn't see and so couldn't have caught any).



After he was rescued and he ate the seagull from the restaurant it didn't taste the same as the meat he had eaten on the island. Therefore, he surmised (again, lord knows why) that on the island he had been eating the flesh of the human victims of the crash. He couldn't live with the thought and so killed himself.



Personally, I think he was deranged all along and his committing suicide was just confirmation of that!

Yeah the first guy was pretty close, but you told the riddle wrongish.

''A man, his clothes soaking wet, walks into a restaurant, sits down and orders a bowl of seagull soup. He takes a bit, realizes something, then runs out into the road and gets killed/heart attack. What happened?''



Three men were stranded on an island. The first was the man who ate the soup. The second killed the third, and made him into soup calling it 'seagull soup'. The first man liked it, so he ordered soup, and realized it wasn't seagull.



...Not great.

The man was on a honeymoon cruise with his new wife, the cruiseship was marooned on an uninhabited island, his wife died, the man was temporarilly blinded, whilst blinded, he was fed by his fellow ship mates, he thought he was being fed seagull, in fact he was being fed the remains of his late wife (yuck), when he was rescued from the island he was told that the body of his wife was no where to be found, when he got to land he went to a restuarant and ordered seagull (he aquired the taste of it while he was on the island), he finds that it tastes nothing like the "seagull" he had on the island, he puts two and two together, and realizes he was fed his wife, he was horrified, and killed himself...the end

he was in a plane crash before and stranded for a long time and all the survivors ate was seagulls. when he ate the seagull from teh restaurant, it didnt taste teh same so he realized he had actually been eating people after teh plane crash, and he couldnt live with the fact he was a cannibal and killed himself.
