What is the answer to the riddle Albatross Soup.?

Question

A man goes to a restruant with his best friend. His friend goes to the bathroom and tells him to order anything for him. The man looks at the menu and orders albatross soup for both of them. His friend comes back when the food arrives. The man takes one sip then takes his gun and shoots himself and his friend. Why?

"The man was previously in a survival situation and lost at sea. While incapacitated from his injuries, he was kept alive by the other survivors by eating what they told him was "albatross soup". The soup he ate at the restaurant tasted completely different and it was at this moment that he concluded that the soup he had previously eaten while stranded was not made with flesh of an albatross. We'll never really know why he killed himself, but it sure makes you think twice before ordering albatross soup doesn't it? Come to think of it; reminds me of a vintage Sesame Street skit. The one where Grover keeps messing up the guy's soup order. That was probably the same guy in your story. Bad luck with soup I suppose!

Along with the bird, albatross is defined as something burdensome that impedes action or progress. Maybe he actually gave him a bunch of problems. Just a guess.
