super inportant riddle!!!!!!! please help!!!!!!!!!!?

Question

A man was sitting on a train with his wife. the man had a blindfold over his eyes to prevent him from using them. His wife went off to go to the toilet, but on her return she found her husbands blindfold on the floor and she knew that he jumped to his death. The worst part was is that she knew that if they had got on the later train, he would not have committed suicide, how did she know this

is it:

he had eyesurgery to cure his blindness and he took off his blindfold before his eyes were ready (the next train would have been sufficient time) and thought he was permanently blind and therefore jumped to his death?

If they took the later train it may have been dark outside, so the blindfold would not have been needed?



So, the blindfold kept him from seeing something that would make him want to commit suicide, something outside the train's windows (since the train would be lit at night, he would have seen the inside of the train without the blindfold at night).



So, maybe he was already suicidal, and needed to see outside the train to judge when to jump to his death?

because the wife wouldnt have had to go to the bathroom!!! im 100% sure. Think about it...she would have already gone. the 2nd train was a later train and surely she wouldnt have waited so long to relieve herself

I think that if they had gone on a later train, the wife would've gone to the bathroom in the train station prior to boarding the train, therefore he wouldn't have been left alone.

I think its because she could of used the bathroom in the train station and she wouldn't have to leave her husband alone so he wouldnt commited suicide

because the later train moved slower and it was lower to the ground or he didnt commit sucide at all and he just took of the blind fold becasue he had to use the toilet too
